Important Notice (March 2012): I've been covering the Long Island craft beer scene for many years now and even written a Long Island Beer Guide. It's pretty clear that very few people are interested in a paper guide and now that everyone has a smartphone, finding craft beer is much easier with an app. So, instead of trying to keep this web site and my print guide up to date, I'm going to refer you to the app I use to find craft beer. The app is called (cleverly) "Find Craft Beer" and it's available for iPhone and Android compatible devices. The "Find Craft Beer" app uses the Beermapping.com database. Since I've been diligently adding Long Island's locations to that database, "Find Craft Beer" should be a reliable resource for Long Island's craft beer fans.
